Custom automation for when Zapier and n8n stop fitting
Direct answer: Kingdom of Kumar builds custom automation for teams outgrowing Zapier, Make or n8n: scoped code, agent and MCP builds that you own and run in your account. We will tell you when staying on your current tool is cheaper. Scoped quote by email, no flat public price.
No-code tools are fine until they are not. Task-based bills climb, a flow with fourteen branches becomes unreadable, or the step you need does not exist. At that point custom is worth pricing, and sometimes it still is not.
Who it is for
- Teams whose Zapier or Make bill grows with volume and keeps surprising them.
- Ops people maintaining flows that only one person understands.
- Teams needing logic, retries or data handling that no-code steps handle badly.
- Founders who want the automation to be code they own, not a subscription they rent.
What you get
- A short audit of your current flows: what runs, what it costs, what breaks.
- A recommendation: keep, trim, move to n8n, or rebuild in code. Sometimes the answer is keep.
- The rebuild of the flows worth moving, in code, n8n, an agent or an MCP server.
- Tests, error alerts and logs.
- Documentation, so another developer can pick it up.
Timeline and price
We quote after reading your flows. Moving a handful of flows is typically days to weeks; a large estate is phased, and the quote says which flows go first. No flat public price.
How the toolkit works
We migrate by value, not by count. The costly and fragile flows move first; stable cheap ones stay put.
Claude Code and Cursor do much of the repetitive translation from a flow diagram to code. We review and test each piece by hand.
The reusable ~80% is shared toolkit for retries, logging and approvals. The custom ~20% is your logic. That is our working model, not a benchmark.
You get the code and the deployment. We do not lock you into a platform of ours.
Not a fit if
- Teams with a few cheap, stable zaps. Leave them.
- Buyers who want another no-code platform.
- Projects that cannot name an owner for the result.
Proof you can check
We have no client case studies yet, and we will not invent any. These are shipped things you can open:
- Gmail + n8n inbox triage walkthrough, sample data, with downloadable workflow JSON
- Law-firm intake demo, sample data

FAQ
When is custom automation cheaper than Zapier?
Usually when volume is high, flows are complex, or you pay per task for work that a small script would do. We check your actual bill and flows before suggesting a move.
Should I just move to n8n?
Sometimes. n8n suits teams that want a visual builder and can host it. If your logic outgrows nodes, code is cleaner. We recommend per case.
Who maintains it after you build it?
You can, from the documentation and tests. If you prefer, we can scope ongoing care by email.
Can you keep part of my stack on Zapier?
Yes. A mixed setup is often the cheapest.
Do you build integrations that do not exist as a node?
Yes, as code against the API, or as an MCP server if assistants should reach it as well.
