Custom AI agents for SaaS and ops teams

By Mayank Raj · Kingdom of Kumar · Updated 31 October 2026

Direct answer: Kingdom of Kumar builds custom AI agents for small SaaS and operations teams: one narrow job per agent, connected to your tools through MCP or direct APIs, with human approval on anything that writes or spends. Scoped by email after a short look at the workflow. No public flat price.

Most useful agents are boring. They read a queue, check three systems, draft a result and ask a person before touching anything that matters. We build that kind, and we say no to the vague "autonomous employee" brief.

Who it is for

What you get

Timeline and price

We quote a timeline in writing after a short look at the workflow. Narrow single-job agents are usually measured in days to a few weeks; anything touching several systems takes longer and we say so up front. Pricing is a scoped quote by email, not a public list price.

How the toolkit works

Scope first. We write down the job as inputs, steps and outputs, and cut anything that needs open-ended judgment.

The reusable ~80% is our toolkit: Grok Bot, Claude and Cursor, plus shared skills and MCP patterns we already use. It covers the plumbing, retries, logging and approval gates.

The ~20% custom part is your data, your rules and your edge cases. We test that against real examples you give us, with sensitive fields masked where you prefer.

Ship narrow, watch it run, widen only if it earns it. This is how we work, not a measured productivity figure.

Not a fit if

Proof you can check

We have no client case studies yet, and we will not invent any. These are shipped things you can open:

Sister product: Cofounderbase, a directory of 971 listed AI automation agencies with a free public MCP server at https://cofounderbase.com/api/mcp/.

FAQ

What is the difference between an agent and an automation?

An automation follows fixed steps. An agent decides between steps using a model, so it handles messy input such as an email or a ticket. We use fixed steps wherever they are enough, because they are cheaper and easier to trust.

How do you keep an agent from doing something costly?

Reads are free to run. Writes, sends and spend pass through an approval step, and the agent logs what it saw and why it acted. TokenGuard can add a hard per-agent budget if you run several.

Do I need an MCP server for my agent?

Not always. MCP helps when the same tools should be reachable from several assistants. For a single internal agent, a direct API call is often simpler. We pick per project.

Can you work with sensitive data?

Yes, with limits agreed in writing: scoped credentials, masked samples for testing, and runs in your account where possible. See our security page for how we handle access.

What do you need from me to quote?

A paragraph describing the task, the tools involved, and one example of a good result. A short call helps but is not required.
